Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using StandardVault you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. These Terms form a binding legal agreement between you and StandardVault.

2. Service Description

StandardVault provides a cloud-based compliance management platform including evidence vault, policy management, employee portal, risk register, vendor management and audit readiness modules, delivered as software-as-a-service.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

4. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all data you upload. We grant you a limited license to use the platform. We will never sell or use your compliance data for any purpose other than providing the service.

5. Uptime and SLA

We target 99.9% monthly uptime. If uptime falls below 99.9% in any month, affected customers are entitled to service credits. Scheduled maintenance is announced 48 hours in advance.

6. Payment Terms

Fees are charged monthly or annually in advance. All fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated. We may change pricing with 60 days notice.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate with 30 days notice. Upon termination you have 30 days to export your data. After 30 days your data is permanently deleted.

8. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability for any claim is limited to fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
